    The 60 GPM sun valve looks great, thanks again for all your help. I will keep in touch for any further parts needs. You sure build a heavy duty splitter and I have learned a lot just by talking to you and studying your models. You have the best design that I have seen and also use the heaviest beams/plate.

I checked piston to see if it was still leaking and found nothing.  I put everything back together and decided to try one more time just to make sure and believe it or not, Its pressure is up to around 2400 psi and is splintering wood without any problems.  I don't know if maybe there might have been air trapped somewhere in the system or what.  I really do appreciate everything you have done for me and I promise if I am in need of anything for my splitter in the future, you will get my business. Thank You a lot!!

 I got tired of dinky log splitters, so I splurged and got a REAL log splitter.  Custom made to 30” logs, horizontal or vertical, 13 horses, 3000 pound force cylinder, and a 27 gallon hydraulic fluid tank.  And it’s fast.

Just a note to thank you for your kindness, patience and your willingness to help me during the design and build process of my splitter. I have had the machine in operation for the last couple of months and it is nothing short of awesome! I really had very few things to change after I put the machine in service and I am now getting ready to paint it. I did add a shelf to the side to keep 2 to 3 pieces of wood on hold so that I would not have to pick every piece off of the ground. Anyway, here is a few pictures for you to see what I came up with.

Log splitter valve LSR-3060

Hi, a few weeks ago I purchased a Prince LSR-3060 2-speed valve from you, with the intention of using it on a tractor(~7gpm) for a 3pt mounted splitter.  At the time you had asked for an update on how it ended up working out.
 
Having finished the splitter I can report it works very well in controlling 2 speeds. The lever has 2 stops for extension, pull it all the way out and the ram moves at about double speed, once it hits resistance release the lever and pull it again to the slow stop (about halfway for full force). However, what I think is really cool is that after contacting a log and getting the initial split at the slow speed, you can then pull the lever all the way out again and split through the full length of the log at the faster speed thus saving time.

  would like to thank you for all your help with my log splitter project. I purchased your 9 hp splitter kit and the wheel package a few months back. At first I was unsure about buying something online across the country. I have had bad luck before. But your prices were great and you returned my phone call, so I went for it. Everything arrived on time. Now the project began. Whenever I had a question you were a phone call away with the answer. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. It's hard to find good people these days that care about their customers like you guys do. I had a great time building my log splitter. I have split over 15 cords with it in the last few weeks and haven't come across a log it couldn't handle.

    I would like to thank you for producing a well thought out and engineered piece of equipment.  It has performed far beyond all of my exectations (to this date, I haven't found a Log it can't split). The splitter is sturdy and versatile making it easier to split logs of irregular shape and size.  It can be used in a horzontal or vertical position and it has cut my work time in half.
